Sul tavolo di  Paté aux courgettes, paté di zucchine

I think this striking jug was once a water jug or coffee pot, as the top has holes for a lid or handle of sorts. I'm not sure how old it is, black and gold was popular in Victorian times, but also during the art deco period and 1980s. Its a beautiful piece that I think deserves to be repurposed or upcycled as it would make a handsome vessel for a floral arrangement or it could just be used as a beautiful jug or wine carafe.
